With the seasonal savings online, Gap.com and Oldnavy.com are just a few of the big sellers offering Free Shipping. After a closer look, I concluded that you have no reason really to check their sites, there are no real metzias to be found.

The “GAP WARMEST” jacket for boys is a long standing favorite which lasts from kid to kid. It’s very insulated with a comfy fleece inside and a really great elastic and cord for closing the hood snuggly.

I have seen these coats sell on Ebay for $30 or less. Brand new on the GAP’s website they are $68 and this year they are showing it in Red, Royal Blue, and Brown.  This year’s style does not come with a heavy insulated hood, but rather with a concealed hood that can be tucked into the collar.

The Children’s Place new collection for Winter 2008 has some really nice colorful sweaters that can be creatively matched for sister brother combinations.

I love color, so this multi triped sweater ($14.99) is my favorite, You can also use the solid grey top ($14.50) to layer a pink or light blue shirt under it for a very classic look for both boys and girls. I would use a black bottom for the grey top.  Size 6-9 months, through 14 XL. Your Comments?

For the multi stripe sweater, I would match light grey corduroy bottoms, and I’ve seen those at all H&M stores, light grey skirts for girls up to 7-8 (for 3-4 years old for the length) and pants up to size 8.

Okay, here’s a metzia I found. For girls, I buy boys sweaters and vests. A, they are wider cut so you can dry them without worrying much about the shrinkage and B – they seem to be cheaper too!
